Boiling Water

Reversing into something is one of the easiest ways for you to dent your bumper or even the back of your car. If you have a plastic bumper then you won’t be able to use the above method to try and remove the dent, but there is another method that you can use. All you have to do is pour some boiling water on the dent so that you can loosen the plastic. As soon as you have done this, reach behind the bumper and try and pull it out. The heat of the water will make the plastic way more flexible and it is a great way for you to really get your car looking like new again.

Hair Dryer

Another method that you can use involves a hair dryer and a little bit of compressed air. You’ll need to heat up the dent with the hair dryer until it gets very hot. This will help to expand the plastic and when it is hot enough, use the compressed air to cool the metal down. This will cause the metal to contract and it will pop itself out. This method is more complicated when compared to the plunger method but if you can’t seem to get the plunger method to work then this is a great way for you to really get the best result out of your dent repair at home.

So there are plenty of ways for you to repair your own car dents, and you’d be surprised to see how easy it is for you to save money throughout the whole process.
