Honda CB150R Streetfire India Launch in Feb 2013

Recently we have reported about the upcoming Honda CB150R Streetfire which was unveiled on Ist of November 2012 at the 2012 Jakarta Motorcycle Show by Astra Honda Motor, Indonesia. But now the wait is over, all new Honda CB150R to be launch in Feb, 2013.

Initially the naked version of the CB150R was meant only for the Indonesian market, but it is now confirmed that the dashing CB150R also hit the Indian shores as well The CB150R currently faces stiff competition with the Yamaha R15 which is more stylish, less expensive and a better bike.

The all new CB150R Streetfire is similar to the CBR150R and powered by the same engine – 150cc liquid cooled engine that produces the power output of 17.5bhp at 10,500 rpm and 12.5 Nm of peak torque at 8500 rpm. Everything remains the same with some sticker stuck and slight cosmetic alterations to make a new bike.

Dropping its price tag to sub-1 lac point would help Honda Motors to handle both R15 and the Pulsar 200NS. The bike was introduced at the Jakarta Show with some added accessories as well as Honda’s Tricolor scheme and available in four colors option – Black, White, a KTM-ish Orange.
