Jeep Grand Cherokee

The Grand Cherokee is the perfect mixture of comfort and brute. It has been listed as one of the top 10 SUV’s in the US. It’s really not that expensive for what you get either. It’s currently on the market, brand new, from around $30,395. However there are many additional add ons that will bump up the price. There are seven configurations of the Cherokee. Today we’re going talk a little about the SRT. It’s a powerful upgrade from the standard version, containing a 6.4L HEMI SRT V8 engine. The most powerful engine of the Cherokee, it powers you forward with 475 bhp, as well as 470nm of torque. The power is delivered through an impressive 8-speed automatic transmission to really drive the car forward. There is also flappy paddles at the rear of the steering wheel for when you’d like control. It also comes with a really great eco mode to help fuel consumption.

Looking at it from the outside, the front fascia is big and open, sort of and angry opening to the car. It has been designed the dynamics in mind, with the rest of the car styling the same square look all Cherokee’s have, but with a bit more aggression. The all leather interior adds a high level of class and comfort, with the general inside of the car feeling rather sporty.  Although it’s been designed for speed and offroading. The inside of the car is really spacious, and the boot room is decent too. The price of the SRT is slightly more expensive at around $66,000 from new. If this is a little out your price range, try looking into a loan to help you. Take a look at something like the I Need Cash Now Website, often loans are better than finance.  All round it’ll make a good little toy, or a great family car.

Ford F Series Raptor

This is a brute of a car. Just looking at it screams manliness. The car has pretty much been designed to carry heavy tools, small machinery, and this time, it comes with amazing power and strength. All starting from $27,380. Again, there are a few configurations of this car 7 in total, but we’ll be looking at the F-150 raptor. It’s in the middle of their range, and pricing starts from $49,785. The huge 4×4 wheels prop up the fine piece of machinery. It comes with a 3.5L V6 engine, a slight dip from the Cherokee. However, it comes with a twin-turbo intercooled DOHC 24-valve ecoboost system, and a 10 speed automatic gearbox. Fuelling the car with a mighty 450bhp and 510 Nm of torque.

The agility and acceleration of this car is immense. Even though it has less base power than the 2017 model, it does still beat it in terms of speed due to the ecoboost feature. The seats on this are part cloth, part leather. With the front two seats having additional lumbar adjustment for optimal comfort. All seats are heated for extra comfort during the colder days. The inside is rather basic, but it wasn’t built for luxury so this is to be expected. There are optional upgrades of adding a premium audio system, navigation system, and Ford’s own Sync Connect for your phone. All round a great car for a real man’s man.

Honda Accord Hybrid

The basic version of the Accord starts at $29,605, and makes the perfect family car. It looks elegant and sleek from the outside. From the front, the sweeping cat eye lights give it a sense of anger among a car that is so quiet and smooth to drive. It has a slightly sporty lower grill, giving the car a little big of an edge. The front bonnet is rather long, looking slightly like a penguin’s beak from the side, however this only adds to the streamlined look of the car.

Inside the car does look extremely modern and high tech. It comes complete with a touch screen centre console entertainment system. Complete with DAB radio, and navigation systems. The hybrid engine comes in two parts, one that starts the car, and the other one to charge the first battery and aid acceleration.  The engine is a 2.4L 6 speeds transmission one, giving off a nice 185bhp. A nice sized all round good family car.
